I've had this thing on my car for 2 years now:
...and it works great! Car makes good power with it but when I'm just driving home it's totally quiet! The unit works by popping open when I get on the power and then closing when just cruising. Makes the car bearable for those of us that are tired of the loud exhaust drone all of the time.
The unit is a quality piece. It has a treated shaft that won't jam and the valve uses insulation so it can keep a good seal and continue to work when you get it hot and dirty. Because of the use of these quality materials it's fairly pricey, but well worth it.
They have two different sizes. I would recommend getting the biggest one, if it will fit in your tip, as it will allow the most air to pass and virtually no restriction to the system.

This is a great product. but they should make one for us twin tip guys that like to keep the stock look. I would deffenently pick one up then. my ears and my gf would love it.
